e9 Final Project
Project Beginnings
In our e9 class students were assigned a final project for the first semester to create a website. We watched 6 videos all approximately 15 minutes long. The project took 4 days to complete and was really educational on how to build websites. I had a it of a rough time but I felt like I tried my best to keep up and comprehend all the different steps and instructions. Overall I think my final product was a success and I hope to work on my website in the future.
Videos
The videos we watched did a pretty good job of explaining what to do. I learned a lot about creating websites through the videos. The first video was instructions on what to save into you student profile for the project and it also talked a little bit about photoshop. While using Adobe Photoshop we learned how to crop photos of ourselves. The second video was a basic introduction to Adobe Dreamweaver. I learned about the design and coding options of editing that the application has available. Video 3 taught more basic skills like how to insert pictures and photos. Video 4 was about creating a second page to showcase the different projects we have done in e9. Videos 5 and 6 were about editing the colors of your website.
My Website
I really like how my website turned out. I don’t have a lot of experience creating websites other than the blogs that I have created. This experience was definitely more in depth than customizing Weebly or Blogger. So for something like this I feel like I did a good job. I like the different shades of purple in my website and I like the color scheme I chose. The content I selected in my website I think is some of the best stuff that I have done in my first semester in e9. I enjoyed making my website and hope to update and expand it in the future.
